(life's a joke get over it)

My names is Jannet Iam a 23 year old Criminal Psychologist student and intern. Let's get some facts out of the way right here in my BIO.
I don't TW my posts because if the mention of something bothers you so much that you will be sick or traumatized, or have anxiety, then tumblr is probably not the place for you. If you are a follower and something actually does bother you, you can ask me to TW it and I will, but I don't preemptively TW anything. But to be honest, this blog is mostly rape, assault, and politics based so if you're that sensitive, I would probably say just don't come on because you're bound to see it.
Secondly. My URL.
Rape and Pillage.
It's a historical term. And I use to to go back to the idea that words are words.
"Sticks and stones" you know.
I acknowledge that RAPE is not a joke, but neither is murder and people joke about that all the time.
I think that the best medicine is laughter, that's why this blog is called "life's a joke, get over it"
I don't check to see what gender you are/identify with so If i call you he or she and it;s wrong, don't get pissy with me about it. Your gender identity or sexual orientation have nothing to do with our argument.
I use curse words with no gender attached, by the way. So If I call you a c*** a b*** or a S*** I don't use it to refer to a gender. Again. Words are words are words.
SO don't tell me I missgendered you if I call you a pussy and you're a guy.
Anti-feminist.
Yes. I said anti feminist. But that does not mean I am anti woman. My God I am a woman! I just am sickened by the tactics and ideals of feminism and i will argue it to the grave.
I use this blog to relieve stress, so pardon me if I get a little rowdy. The more I post, the worse day I have had. I hope yours was nice.
Remember, sticks and stones, but if you're a bitch, ima call you on it.

Anonymous asked: What are your overall thoughts on gay, lesbian, or bisexual people?

Overall? That’s a weird question. Like what are your thoughts on people in general? Someone’s sexuality doesn’t mean anything stand alone

stephendiazdelgado asked: I was in an argument with a tumblr feminist on my FB and she literally stated that feminism was about knocking men down a peg so they would be equal to women. I'm confused. Wasn't feminism "supposed" to be about women rising up to be equal to men?

It was once. That was the point and now it happened and they don’t want to believe that they’re now a useless and pointless movement. Now they cry and bitch about everything.

Ps sorry this is so late I havent been on lately

Can we please, please talk about or at least acknowledge Simone Battle? A 25 year old black female singer who just committed suicide a few days ago?

High profile suicides are always white girls. Black girls’ stories are always swept aside. Please, let’s not let Simone Battle’s go unnoticed.

she wasnt really high profile though, She was just kind of on the radar. No one knows who she is unless they watch x factor. which is why it hadnt been covered

Fuck the Ravens, the NFL, the DA who hasn’t pressed charges, and the deeply engrained misogyny in our society that allows this reaction to a man caught on video beating the shit out of his wife. All in no particular order.
And ESPECIALLY fuck the bonehead intern running the Ravens twitter account who thought this tweet was an acceptable thing to put on social media.

so…a fiance gose on camera becuase she felt that she caused the issue in some way, then goes on to marry this man, and that’s….victim blaming? sorry I don’t think that anyone should ever beat another person or no reason but what was the audio to that video? eh? I don’t know. Neither do you, sure he should have gotten more than two games to begin and I like the new rule more(6 games min, second offence lifetime ban) so why can;t he have that now? He dudn’t second offend this just came out late wtf

mediamattersforamerica:

WOW. Fox’s advice for women (like Ray Rice’s wife) who don’t want to be brutally beaten by their partners in an elevator: “Take the stairs.” And for men who are considering it: “When you’re in an elevator, there’s a camera.”

**Update: After being called out by numerous media outlets, Fox & Friends will address its irresponsible commentary on tomorrow’s show.

his is ludicrous, they shouldnt have to apologize for the commentary. That was clearly not serious advice. He was saying shit always happens in elevators, people should take the stairs and then doosey follwos him with “When you’re in an elevator, there’s a camera.” because the first comment is a somewhat comical commentary on the situation.

Alright imma say one more thing about this.

  • This is not the time to discuss how Joan Rivers hurt your liddle feewings
  • This is CERTAINLY not the time to express that you’re “Glad Joan Rivers is dead”
  • She had a huge fanbase that’s in mourning, and I can’t even begin to imagine what her family is going through
  • Comedians make jokes. Some of hers were offensive. Fucking deal with it. It was hilarious
  • Just shut the fuck up and let those who loved her mourn

pradahoe:

So when Joan Rivers; a racist, transphobic, victim blaming, pro-Israel bitch dies she’s put down as ‘problematic’ and I’m meant to feel bad for being glad that she died but I’m supposed to be okay when an unarmed black teenager is publicly executed just for being black and his fucking killer gets over $400K donated to him and doesn’t get charged with anything and gets to walk freely???

You inflate fallacies and that is your problem on world view

altlivsvagenda:

Joan Rivers was not a kind person. She tore people apart and called it comedy. She wished death upon others, made fun of women who were abused, and made offensive punchlines out of everyone in the media.

I would never say I am glad someone is dead. But I’m also not gonna pretend that she was a good person just because she’s gone.

You do realize that a lot of people found her funny. We’re not all puss babies

thisiseverydayracism:

If today’s news has taught me anything, it’s that an old white woman can be as racist, transphobic, fatphobic, female-degrading, and offensive as possible….because she will still be remembered as “a good person” and “an icon for all woman” once she’s dead.

(Yes, I’m referring to Joan Rivers)

My God you miss the whole point. She made fun of EVERY ONE

redbloodedamerica:

The sober truth is that the most important civil rights battles were fought and won 4 decades before the Obama presidency.  The black underclass continues to face many challenges, but they have to do with values and habits, not oppression from a manifestly unjust society.  Blacks have become their own worst enemy.

- Jason L. Riley, Please Stop Helping US

If that line alone doesn’t make you want to read this book, this video will seal the deal in which Mr. Riley makes an argument how government institutions like raising the minimum wage and affirmative action are hurting the blacks in America.

I can’t wait to!
